Kings College London,
Institute of Psychiatry: Concept development & exhibition build
OOOD project managed and built the first ever mental health exhibit at the Royal Society for the King's College London Institute of Psychiatry.
We worked with two scientists from KCL to understand the five research projects they had been selected to exhibit. We developed concepts and layouts to overcome the challenging dimensions of the space and to effectively communicate the five separate concepts to 5000 visitors.
In order to better understand the interactions between the audience and the space we set up a mock exhibition on campus and tested the proposed design with groups of year 9 students from local schools.
We built and installed the exhibition over two days.
Project delivered on behalf of Makerversity.
